The Shell Houston Open PGA Tour event brings a lot of opportunities to introduce kids to the fun of golf. First Tee leads the way with a fun golf experience called Champion’s Challenge for a 4th grade boy and girl (plus their physical education teacher) from every school in the greater Houston area. After the golf portion we gathered around the green for “Muscle Hustle” and ate Chick-Fil-A!
Watch the videos as 340 4th graders at First Tee’s Champion’s Challenge do C.A.R.s (controlled articular rotations) in Part 3 & Part 4. Never thought I would hear the words, “Thank you to Pam Owens Fitness and the Chick-Fil-A cows!” View Part 9 to see the cows dance and clap to “Happy”. Is that the name of my future rock band?!!?
You can grow the game and grow the character of kids at First Tee! Donate or participate here.
